A Quick Take on Nebius

We were already quite advanced in writing about Nebius (NBIS) when, during our research, we ran into an article that certainly meets our quality standards. And since the subtitle of this Substack is “we summarize the best research on the web,” we realized we’ve been doing very little of that, publishing mostly our own research, but you don’t always have to reinvent the wheel when you find one that’s certainly good enough.

Nebius is a datacenter company that was founded by Arkady Volozh, the former founder and CEO of Yandex. He left Russia after that country invaded Ukraine to start all over again in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

It is a hot stock in a hot sector after what has already been quite a rally, more than doubling in a little over two months:
